Conservative Phony Paul Gazelka Enters Race For Governor

Left to Right: Representative Hortman, Senator Gazelka, Governor Walz, Representative Neu Brindley, and Senator Kent

Former Majority Leader of the Minnesota Senate, Paul Gazelka, just announced his bid for Governor of Minnesota. In a crowded field of candidates, he may believe that he can lead a big enough faction to take the GOP endorsement and ultimately the nomination.

Before he goes to court conservative voters, he will need to answer to his epic shortcomings in the Minnesota Senate.

Gazelka Refused To Hear The Never Again Bill

Thanks to Senator Mark Koran, a senate version of Representative Mortensen’s very popular Never Again bill was introduced. This proposal is the only piece of legislation to date that would strip the governor of their ability to declare an executive emergency without a 2/3rds majority vote from the legislature.

As Majority Leader, Paul Gazelka determined which legislation got to be heard on the floor. Despite the pushback from his conservative constituents, Gazelka refused to hear the never again bill and buried it as deep as he could.

What Walz got away with over the past year is a crime. No governor should have that much power, and the fact that Paul Gazelka did not do more to stop him raises red flags about his plans in office.

Gazelka Refused To Fire Jan Malcolm

Because he served as Majority Leader for the Republican Senate Caucus, Gazelka had a lot of sway over what succeeded and failed on the floor. With this power, Gazelka had the ability to determine which of Walz' commissioners were fired, and which ones stayed. Senator Gazelka broke with the conservative base and DEFENDED Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Commissioner Jan Malcolm.

The tyrannical edicts coming from the governor’s mansion last year -- including restaurant, business, and church closures as well as mask mandates -- were encouraged by MDH Commissioner Jan Malcolm.

One of the senate’s few checks on Governor Walz was their ability to fire commissioners. Even after the conservative base clamored for some sort of accountability, Senator Gazelka did not lift a finger.

Gazelka Will Not Stop Vaccine Mandates

As rumors swirl surrounding an upcoming September special legislative session, Representative Erik Mortensen has announced that he will introduce an amendment to ban vaccine mandates. Thousands of Minnesota voters have contacted their elected officials in support of this amendment, and yet none will put their name to paper and say that they will vote for it.

Notably, Paul Gazelka has not indicated what his plan is to stop vaccine mandates... if he has one at all! This is just one more indicator that Gazelka talks a big game, but refuses to take action when he is needed most.

Gazelka Will Run As A Moderate

During his press release, Senator Gazelka bragged about the fact that left-wing Senator Tom Bakk may be supporting his campaign for Governor. This is not the flex that Gazelka thinks it is.

Though Bakk is a newly independent member of the senate, he served several years as a DFLer as well as the DFL Minority Leader. As you could guess, Bakk is not exactly a conservative. This rings true with his pro-abortion and fiscally irresponsible votes in the legislature.

The fact that Gazelka even brings up this potential endorsement says that he plans to run a moderate campaign for governor.

There is a lot more mud to dig up on Senator Gazelka’s record. Unfortunately for conservative voters, you do not need to dig much to find some. With such a crowded field of candidates seeking the GOP endorsement, it is likely that candidates will begin throwing punches sooner rather than later.

Gazelka joins Michelle Benson, Scott Jensen, Mike Murphy, Mike Marti, and Dr. Neil Shah in the race.

Benson Opposes Removing Disastrous MDH Comm. Jan Malcolm

Minnesota Health Commissioner Jan Malcolm has been a disaster for the state of Minnesota. She was responsible for overseeing the implementation of the detrimental lockdowns and mask mandates that rocked our state over the past year. Now, she is in charge of Walz’ Vaccine Bribes system, which doles out $100 in taxpayer dollars to individuals who are pressured to get the vaccine.

Many conservative activists have called for Malcolm’s resignation or removal. Up until recently, she was protected by a few Republican Senators who were too scared to upset the status quo. One of Malcolm’s defenders includes gubernatorial candidate Michelle Benson.

According to the WCCO, Senator Benson appears hesitant to take a stance on removing Malcolm as health commissioner, even now that she is trying to court conservative voters for her gubernatorial run.

“But Benson noted that while the list of GOP frustrations has been ‘accumulating,’ it hasn’t gotten to a point where ‘she’s actually violated something the Senate took a vote on.’”

Senator Benson should try explaining her non-committal stance to business owners like Lisa Hanson, who was arrested for daring to open her business against the guidance of Governor Walz and Jan Malcolm.

Republicans will have their chance to remove Malcolm at an upcoming September Special Session. Will Benson stand with her conservative constituents? Or stand with the disastrous Jan Malcolm?

Call Senator Benson NOW, and tell her that she must vote to remove Commissioner Malcolm at the upcoming September Special Session:

Bailout Benson Launches Campaign With A Fiscally Irresponsible Record

On Wednesday, Senator Michelle Benson joined a crowded field for Governor of Minnesota. In her announcement video, she brags about her initiatives in the Minnesota Senate, including her efforts to “lower insurance premiums”.

When talking about insurance premiums, Bailout Benson is referring to her steadfast support of reinsurance, or, a taxpayer-funded bailout for insurance companies.

In 2017, Senator Benson authored SF 1, which gave $311 million in taxpayer dollars directly to insurance companies in a misguided attempt to lower insurance premiums. This is the exact same program that left-wing Congresswoman Angie Craig supports.

If elected governor, Bailout Benson should have no issue working with tax and spend liberals at the Capitol. She may, however, have trouble finding common ground with conservative legislators in her own party. If she plans on campaigning as a fiscal conservative, she will have a hard time doing so with this stain on her record. Unfortunately for Benson, this is not the only issue she must answer to.

In 2019, Benson voted for the renewal of the Sick Tax, which is a tax on healthcare providers that gets passed down to the patient. Republicans had stood against this tax at the beginning of session, until then-senator Scott Jensen and a few of his friends authored legislation to keep the tax around

Despite protests from doctors and healthcare professionals alike, the Minnesota legislature passed the new sick tax up to Governor Walz to sign into law.

Senator Benson voted with Scott Jensen to keep this tax in place.

If Bailout Benson is willing to tax and spend your hard-earned money away in the state senate, how can voters expect her to be any different as Governor?

Scott Jensen’s The Only GOP Gov Candidate To Refuse The Never Again Pledge

Image obtained from the StarTribune

As of writing, former state senator Scott Jensen is the only GOP candidate for Governor that has refused to sign the Never Again Pledge.

The Never Again Pledge simply states that the candidate will:

  1. Prioritize Representative Erik Mortensen’s “Never Again” Bill, which would strip the governor of the unilateral ability to declare an executive emergency.
  2. Refuse to sign any legislation before the Never Again Bill becomes law.
  3. NEVER use emergency powers or executive edicts to force mask and vaccine mandates, or to shut down businesses

HERE IS WHO HAS SIGNED FROM THE WEBSITE ABOVE:

Mike Murphy, Mike Marti, and Dr. Neil Shah have all proudly put their name to the pledge that promises they will make Mortensen’s “Never Again” legislation their top priority upon entering office. These candidates have stayed true to their conservative principles and promise to defend the rights of the people if elected.

Scott Jensen has been asked numerous times to sign the Never Again Pledge, but has refused.

This should be a red flag for conservatives everywhere. Jensen has made Walz' tyrannical edicts a centerpiece of his campaign for governor, yet he refuses to promise he would do things differently. Why should activists take his word when he refuses to put his promise down on paper?

If you have been keeping up with Scott Jensen’s record, this should not come as a surprise. While he was in the state senate in May of 2020, Scott Jensen introduced a resolution to end Governor Walz’ peacetime emergency. However, when Senate Majority Leader Paul Gazelka told him to drop it, he dropped it.

Jensen could have forced a vote on the resolution to end Walz’ peacetime emergency, but failed to do so. It seems that Scott Jensen likes to talk a big game, but fails to take action when he is needed most.

Thousands Flood MN Capitol To Oppose Vaccine Passports & Mandates

Power-hungry politicians are demanding that you recieve your “License to Live” by means of a Vaccine Passport. If you do not provide proof of vaccination on demand, you could be denied basic goods and services and even lose your job.

On Saturday, thousands of protestors took to the Capitol lawn to protest the growing implementation of these Licenses to Live across the state of Minnesota.

Speakers and attendees told heart-wrenching stories of threatened livelihoods due to more and more employers requiring inoculation against the will of their hardworking employees. This has become all too common in the healthcare field, where nurses who were last year’s heroes have become this year’s “villains”.

Though speakers like Representative Eric Lucero and Representative Marion O’Neill talked a big game against vaccine mandates, it did not seem like they had a solid plan to defeat them in Minnesota.

Representative Erik Mortensen has taken large strides towards presenting an amendment that bans vaccine mandates at the special legislative session in September.

His amendment would not only nullify local attempts to mandate vaccines, but also cancel out any attempts made by the Biden administration as well. This proposal has gained steam among medical freedom advocates across Minnesota.

For reasons unknown to their constituents, legislators are ignoring Mortensen’s efforts.

It seems like legislators are trying to ride the growing popularity for medical freedom in Minnesota, without actually taking the steps needed to protect it.

Call your state representative and state senator NOW and tell them to pledge their support for Representative Mortensen’s vaccine mandates ban amendment.

Walz, Klobuchar, and Smith Ignore Their Own Mask Guidance

Since a government agency run by political scientists has determined that masks are once again required for the general populace, power-hungry politicians have been mulling new mask mandates -- regardless of vaccination status.

This flies in the face of what politicians previously promised. President Joe Biden has become infamous for his statements regarding the need for masks after being inoculated with the COVID-19 vaccine.

Do not take my word for it. Check out the transcript from Biden’s own press release.

“Now, I want to be clear about what the CD- — CDC is saying and what the CDC is not saying.  The CDC is saying they have concluded that fully vaccinated people are at a very, very low risk of getting COVID-19.  Therefore, if you’ve been fully vaccinated, you no longer need to wear a mask.  Let me repeat: If you are fully vaccinated, you no longer need to wear a mask.”

(They even included the stutters!)

This was back in May. Now, it appears that both President Biden and the CDC have broken their promise to the American people and demand both vaccinations and masks.

Members of the Democratic Party have echoed the newfound consensus surrounding masks and vaccines. Walz’ own Department of Health has updated their guidance to reflect the “political science”.

Yet, Walz and both of Minnesota’s US Senators refuse to take their own advice.

On the first day of the Minnesota State Fair, Governor Walz, Senator Klobuchar and Senator Smith were all spotted indoors without their masks *gasp*. Check out the pictures below.

"Rules for thee, but not for me!"

It is not like photos were hard to find. Walz posted them on his own Facebook page.

Let me be clear, if you want to receive the vaccine and mask up, go for it! Nobody is stopping you. However, you should not tell people to mask indoors, just to turn around and ignore your own advice.

Minnesotans have clearly had enough of the COVID-Hysteria and hypocrisy. If Walz dares consider another peacetime emergency to enforce his mask guidance onto the people of Minnesota, he must be Impeached and removed from office.

Vaccine Mandates Quickly Spreading Across MN

Image obtained from Reuters

For those who value medical freedom, it is sad to see support for vaccine mandates spread across the state of Minnesota.

It is clear that businesses and governments alike will use the rushed FDA approval of the COVID-19 vaccine to implement more and more mandates. We have already seen federal and state employees required to take the vaccine, now it seems more businesses and schools will be doing the same.

Restaurants like Hark Cafe in Minneapolis will begin requiring proof of vaccination in order to dine in. Employers like the Mayo Clinic have begun to mandate vaccines for workers, while schools like the University of Minnesota have begun mandating them for students.

The general public has now had access to the covid-19 vaccine since March. If you ever planned on being inoculated, you probably would have done so by now. Forcing them on people is not humane, and must be stopped.

Governor Walz is applauding efforts to mandate the vaccines, and will continue to do so unless he is kept in check. Sign the petition to Impeach Walz for his abuses of power, before he is able to mandate vaccines for everyone and once again locks down Minnesota!

Politicians Afraid To Face Activists; Reinstall Capitol Fence

Photo obtained from the StarTribune

The infamous fence surrounding the Minnesota Capitol will be making an unwelcome return. Citing concerns with medical freedom rallies scheduled for next week, the Department of Public Safety will be putting a fence around the Capitol to keep protestors out.

The original Capitol fence was installed following civil unrest in May of 2020 and remained up through June of this year. After barely 3 months of being open to the public, it appears that the Minnesota Capitol will once again be locked down.

Representative Erik Mortensen made a video back in March, calling out the politicians and bureaucrats that allowed this fence to separate them from the public.

WATCH MORT CALL THEM OUT HERE

If these politicians could make it happen, they would not interact with you at all! They do not want to hear your concerns with vaccine mandates! They would rather stay at home and attend legislative sessions via zoom with no pressure from grassroots activists.

Now is the time to make your voice heard. Among the events at the Capitol next week is the “Medical Freedom” rally, which takes place on Saturday, August 28th at noon. This is your opportunity to show up and take a stand against mandatory vaccinations. Even if your politicians refuse to show up to work, they will still see you taking a stand on the news!

Scott Jensen Tries To Defend His Poor Record On Guns

The 2022 election cycle is in full swing, despite the fact that election day is still over a year away. Governor Tim Walz’ tyrannical behavior in response to the coronavirus pandemic has led to a growing field of GOP candidates for governor.

Former state senator Scott Jensen has arguably received the most early news coverage in his bid for governor. With that coverage, however, comes growing questions about his record in the Minnesota Senate.

In 2018, Senator Jensen co-sponsored TWO gun control proposals that were introduced by left-wing legislators. The first being a proposal that would enact universal background checks on gun purchases, and the second would make it a crime to not immediately report missing firearms

Jensen later removed his name from the background check proposal after receiving severe backlash from liberty-activists in his conservative state senate district.

After voters actively questioned his second amendment views, Scott Jensen released a video on his Youtube channel responding to criticisms on Friday. He admitted that he cosponsored such legislation, and even defended his actions.

In reference to protestors from Michael Bloomberg backed groups like Moms Demand Action, Jensen said that he...

“...wanted our legislature to honor their activism, to honor their voice, and lead a robust discussion regarding the value, revising our background checks system.”

Conservative activists must surely be disappointed to hear that Scott Jensen wanted to honor left-wing gun-grabbing activists.

After this surprising admission, he switches gears and states that “What matters is what I will do as your governor”. Jensen then goes on to say that he will strive to pass Stand Your Ground and Constitutional Carry proposals, while banning Red Flag Laws.

Will voters believe him this time?

It is sad to see Scott Jensen pretend his record does not matter. Actions speak louder than words, and his past actions say a lot about his principles. If he allowed himself to be influenced by the efforts of gun control activists in 2018, imagine what kind of pressure he will bow to as governor!

Jensen will be seeking the GOP endorsement in the spring of 2022. He will be facing off against fellow Republicans Mike Murphy, Mike Marti, and Dr. Neil Shah.

Governor Walz Must Resign

Tim Walz won his election for governor of Minnesota in 2018 by a fairly healthy margin. If his voters at the time knew what kind of actions he would take while in office, they may have reconsidered their vote.

In March of 2020, Governor Walz enacted a peacetime emergency due to rising fears surrounding the coronavirus. With his emergency powers, he would issue countless executive orders that carried the weight of law. These executive edicts shut down churches, restaurants, bars, gyms, entertainment venues and more. All because Governor Walz deemed these businesses “non-essential”.

Walz threatened those who gathered together in public and private spaces with fines and jail time. He and Attorney General Keith Ellison did not hesitate to enforce his made up laws, either.

Additionally, Governor Walz permitted COVID-19 patients to be discharged into nursing homes across the state. This detrimental action accounted for more than 60% of covid-related deaths in Minnesota (among the highest in the nation). Unfortunately, Minnesota was not the only state that put senior citizens in harm's way.

Even the liberal Star Tribune has noted the absurdity of Walz’ policy:

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has become notorious for doing the same exact thing as Walz. His administration then lied about the number of deaths in nursing homes, which is estimated to be several thousand. When this story came to light, New York legislators got to work on Articles of Impeachment against Cuomo.

Both this scandal and recent sexual assault allegations were enough to get the left-wing Governor to step down. Remember when President Biden heralded Cuomo as the “gold-standard” for coronavirus leadership?

Tim Walz and Andrew Cuomo shared the same playbook. Governor Walz should read the room and step down from his position of power. If he refuses to leave, Representative Erik Mortensen has already introduced Articles of Impeachment against him and found two additional co-sponsors.

Minnesotans must do all they can to ensure that Walz is impeached. If he is allowed to keep his office, he may enact harsher policies like mandatory vaccines. There is nothing wrong with getting the COVID-19 vaccine if you want it, but forcing vaccinations for all Minnesotans is pure tyranny. Walz’s friends have already shown interest in a national vaccine mandate.

You can help fuel the impeachment effort by signing the Official Impeachment Petition.
